CARISMA

CARISMA is dedicated to improving life in the South Manchester area, and stands for Community Alliance for Renewal, Inner South Manchester Area. CARISMA was set up in 2002 and are based at The Saltshaker, 16 Bedwell Close, Moss Side, M16 7LN (0161-227 9776). As well as coordinating the exciting Street Pastors project in Moss Side, Longsight and Gorton CARISMA also organises the annual Peace Week which has been running with phenomenal success for 5 years now. Their overall aim is to reclaim the streets for the communities within South Manchester and to link other groups together who have similar aims.
